Q: Can I get stuck in hypnosis or a past life?

A: No, you cannot get stuck. In fact, you aren't even asleep during hypnosis.

Q: I can't be hypnotized.

A: Everyone with reasonable intelligence can be hypnotized. You're in hypnosis a minimum of twice a day – once in “twilight,” that period of time right before falling asleep, and once in the morning, right before awakening. We simply recreate that state during your session. "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you're right." - Henry Ford

Q: Am I sleeping in hypnosis?

A: No, you aren't sleeping. You're awake and in control the entire time.

Q: Will I remember everything in my session?

A: Yes, you will remember everything that is said by you and your hypnotherapist during your session. In rare instances, your hypnotherapist may need to jog your memory on one or two points.

Q: Are my secrets safe?

A: Yes, absolutely. You won't share anything in hypnosis that you don't want to. It's not a truth serum!

Q: Is hypnosis or regression dangerous?

A: No, it's no more dangerous than relaxing in your easy chair watching television or looking at your phone.

Q: Are there any side effects or drugs used during the session?

A: There are no drugs used in hypnotherapy. The only side effect that you may have is a deep feeling of relaxation for about 15 minutes after your session. You'll be given plenty of time afterward to “wake up” before you drive away or operate any machinery.

Q: I'm afraid of what I might find, or how I might feel.

A: Not to worry! Anything that you can recall or imagine, you can change. If you come across something you don't like, you have the power to leave the situation or change it.

Q: I'm not sure I believe in reincarnation or past lives, so I don't think this will work for me.

A: Actually, there are plenty of people who benefit from PLR without actively "believing" in the process. Whether you think it's a past life you're viewing, or whether you think it's completely made up in your imagination- if it helps you move forward and solve some problems, it's worth the experience.

Q: I have religious concerns. Is this the work of the devil?

A: According to the ‘New Catholic Encyclopedia’, the Catholic Church (the largest Christian organization in the world) feels that ‘hypnotism is licit if used for licit purposes’. Hypnotherapy is just a tool, albeit very powerful, which can help people enlist the power of their own unconscious mind in order to solve their own problems. In many respects the effect is similar to prayer or meditation. The Catholic Church as a proper procedure also accepted it for its members in 1958. Suggestion is probably used from across pulpit more in religion that just about any other type of organization other than in sales.

Q: Will I be in control of what's happening?

A: Yes, the entire time. Nothing happens during hypnosis without your consent.

Q: Is this suitable for children?

A: Hypnosis is not suitable for children under age 6, or those who may be mentally impaired. Children over the age of 6 can greatly benefit from hypnosis, particularly if they are having concentration issues in their schoolwork.

Q: What's the difference between hypnosis and hypnotherapy?

A: Hypnosis is the modality to facilitate change within the subconscious mind; hypnotherapy is the act of using hypnosis to facilitate that change.

Q: Will the hypnotist have to touch me?

A: Never without your consent. There are exercises which can be used that would require a light touch on the hand, shoulder, or forehead, but can be substituted for alternative exercises without any loss of effectiveness. (We use alternative exercises if your session happens online, by phone, or in a group setting.)

Q: How many sessions will I need?

A: The amount of sessions you will require is subjective to the problem you're trying to solve with hypnosis, but for a general rule, 4-6 is considered typical. Call for a free evaluation and we'll discuss your needs and desired results.

Q: Will I do anything against my will?

A: Absolutely not. There's no such thing as the Hollywood version of hypnosis, where you're running around clucking like a chicken or barking like a dog. Unless, of course, that's what you want to do.

Q: What's the difference between a past life reading and a past life regression?

A: A past life reading is done by me, where I use my intuitive abilities to access your past lives for you. A past life regression is an experience where you are able to recall past life memories under guided hypnosis.

Q: What are your qualifications?

A: Starting at the top, I am a Level III Reiki Master, Ordained Minister in the State of Tennessee; I am a Certified Clinical Hypnotist; a Past Life Regression Therapist; Certified Spiritual Life Coach; Psychic Intuitive; and a spiritual business mentor to many.

Q: What's the difference between a past life group session and a personal past life regression?

A: In a group setting, you experience your own past life regression in a limited way; since the process is conducted for the group, it cannot be personalized to fit your specific needs. A personal session is customized just for you, where we can go much deeper than a group session and conduct healing work or behavioral work as necessary.

Q: Are pre-recorded sessions as effective as individualized sessions?

A: Pre-recorded sessions have a very low success ratio because it's a “one size fits all” approach. With individualized sessions, your results are tailored to your specific needs.

Q: How do I know what session is right for me?

A: Call me today and we'll discuss what session is right for you, and tailor a plan for your success.
